Vets Highly Recommend to Wear Pair

The study has shown that when a dog gets injured in one leg, it is highly likely the other leg will get injured as well due to the imbalance caused by the injured leg. So veterinarians highly recommend wearing braces on both legs. NeoAlly package contains one pair of dog braces to support both legs.

Support – Stabilize - Immobilize

Each NeoAlly Dog Hock Brace comes with 2 sets of strip inserts, the rigid metal strips, and the semi-rigid metal spring strips. They are removable and interchangeable. You can easily take them out or re-insert them. The rigid Metal Strips provide stabilization and immobilization, used in dog rehab and injury recovery; the semi-rigid Metal Spring Strips provide strong support to a dog's rear leg and hock joints, while not hindering the dog's movement; and the braces without inserts can be used for flexible support and wound healing

Breathable Fabric The dog brace is made of strong, durable, and soft neoprene, which is perforated and breathable. It helps dogs to walk better and prevents them from licking wounds, effectively protecting and speeding up wound healing and pain relief.

Keep your dog active and healthy with NeoAlly 3-In-1 Dog Rear Leg Hock Splint Braces.

Such a big help!

My 8 pound chihuahua has tiny ankles, about the size of my thumb, making it hard to find supports. The extra small actually fits her little toothpicks and help her move around so much better. Ordering extras for sure

Great cheap solution

Many of the braces on Amazon have spring inserts, this is one of the few brands that comes with rigid inserts as well, which was important for our dog with achilles damage. After some initial awkwardness our pup has increased stability in her hind legs thanks to these. Make sure they are tight, but not too tight, or else it won't work or could cut off circulation. There are better solutions but they are much more expensive. This is very good value. Would recommend for dogs who need minor support.

Helped with patellar luxating or "floating kneecap" be more stable somewhat.

My dog has the patellar luxating on her rear legs, is a senior, and has arthritis. Now in her later years, she is unable to go up her dog ramp as much as before. She supports her weight more towards her back left leg rather than the right. Because of that when she needs to turn or walk back, it gets hard. At times she would either fall back sitting down, or fall to her right side. She recently sprained her right leg, or maybe locked it in and was having walking. This time, she must of sprained her right leg because she had it stretched out and was trembling. Either that or maybe her leg was locked in.The following day after her injury, she was able to talk normally, but I still put on the braces and noticed a slight difference. She was still floppy on her legs, but where her legs would normally bend to the right or left, depending where shes putting her weight, the brace helped her be stabilized more. Still wobbly, but more stiff. Similar to how we humans have a sprain and we put on a brace. We know its injured but still are careful and rely on our brace.Anyway, I attached photos of the measurements to help you guys decided between a Extra small, or a small. Cuz, my dogs legs are odd in size. Hopes this helps!
